Torn on how I should review this.

On one hand I do like most of the fit. The nose area fit pretty well and snug for a full motorcycle helmet. It is breathable which is great for the hot state I live in. Over all it does its job, it will help keep a barrier between my sweaty head and helmet liner. Which in turns lowers the frequency I need to remove and clean my helmet liner. Also I just think a product like this helps cut down on wind noise in a full helmet.

On the other hand I think the store picture does not properly represent the amount of fabric there is below the chin area. If you look at the picture, you would think there is enough material excess that it would go below your collar line. Unfortunately there is not enough material in that area. The chin area barley covers my beard and even less so once I cinch down my helmet chin strap. I know this really does not affect the function of the skull gaiter but the store image was one of the primary reasons I made the purchase. Additionally I am not sure on how long the skull cap edge will hold up. I can already feel slippage when putting on my helmet. I am familiar with how these items will stretch over time, which is why I was here to purchase a new one.

This was my first purchase from Schampa and I am toying with the idea of purchasing another skull gaiter here if I can find a warm weather style offered. There was a minor hiccup with the order process and delivery. A week after placing my order I had no updates about the status of my order. Once I called their store I was informed that they were out of stock and currently making more of this specific item. The person on the phone was informative about the delays and apologetic. This was not a big deal but an email about the stock status and delays would of been appreciated.

Overall not bad for the price and I am currently meddling over the idea of purchasing a different product from Schampa to see how it fits.
